UV Print Specialist/Production Assistant

As our UV Print Specialist, you play a vital role in both operating our UV printers and supporting overall production. You are responsible for running high-quality, custom prints, maintaining the equipment, and contributing to the flow and efficiency of the production process. This role requires attention to detail, initiative, and a strong team-focused mindset. Previous experience not required.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 • UV Printing Operations
Operate and monitor UV printers to ensure all jobs are completed accurately and on time. Follow print files and job instructions with precision to produce clean, high-quality prints.
 • Daily Maintenance & Cleaning
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on the UV printers to keep them running smoothly. Handle print head cleanings, nozzle checks, and ensure the machines are always in good working order.
 • Troubleshooting & Quality Control
Identify and resolve basic issues with the printers (e.g., misprints, banding, ink problems). Conduct quality checks to catch errors before products move forward in the workflow.
 • Production Team Support
When not actively printing, assist with other production tasks such as prepping materials, assembling products, packaging orders, and helping teammates with workflow.
 • Material Usage & Waste Awareness
Be mindful of material usage, ink, and substrates to reduce waste and avoid costly mistakes. Take care when setting up jobs and making cuts to ensure efficient use of resources.
 • Teamwork & Initiative
Be a proactive team member who looks for ways to help. Step in where needed, support your coworkers, and maintain a positive, can-do attitude. You should be someone who can “see a need, fill a need” without being asked.
 • Communication
Keep leadership and team members informed of any printer issues, supply shortages, or delays. Maintain accurate logs for printer maintenance and print jobs if required.
 • Other Duties as Needed
Assist with general shop responsibilities like taking out trash, restocking materials and products, organizing workspaces, and helping wherever needed to keep the business running efficiently.
