Niceville Exchange Club 6th Annual Field of Valor

The Exchange Club of Niceville, in conjunction with the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast, Eglin AFB, will be hosting the 6th annual Field of Valor (FOV) flag display in Niceville from Sept 7-14, 2019. This patriotic tribute will honor all men and women from the State of Florida who have made the supreme sacrifice for our nation’s security and freedom (since 9/11/2001) in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The FOV will consist of American flags, one each for every service member being remembered, flown atop eight foot poles and displayed in perfect rows and columns in a grassy field at the Mullet Festival grounds. Each flag pole will display the name of a Florida service member who gave their life to protect our freedoms. The flags will be arranged alphabetically by last name and will include the service member's hometown.

The FOV will hold the opening ceremony at 10:00 am on Saturday, Sept 7, 2019. After the opening ceremony, the Field of Valor will remain open to visitors 11:00 noon - 7:00 P.M. through Sept 14, 2019. Visitors will be admitted to the field at no charge to pay their respects, honor and remember our heroes from the State of Florida. Viewing the Field of Valor is an awe-inspiring experience. This field of flags, streaming red, white and blue presents an unforgettable panorama that remembers and honors our servicemembers who made the ultimate sacrifice.
