City of Niceville Presents: My City Celebration

The City of Niceville is inviting you to the My City Celebration on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 beginning at 5:00 pm at the Niceville Community Center and the Niceville Senior Center.

Because city government is the government with the most direct daily impact on residents, it is important to understand how your city operates, the services it provides, and the importance of your active involvement.

“We are excited about the upcoming My City Celebration,” said City Manager Lannie Corbin. “This is an opportunity to help our residents become more informed about the many services we provide, which will lead to more knowledgeable citizen participation in the future.”

The Niceville Community Center will host an informative meet & greet with the city administration, various city departments, and several businesses and organizations. The Niceville Senior Center will be open for families to tour and will be serving hot dogs, chips and drinks to visitors.

Florida City Government Week, October 21-27, is sponsored by the Florida League of Cities. While not during the official timeframe, Niceville’s My City Celebration is our way of supporting the League’s initiative to showcase cities and recognize the significant role played by city government in the lives of its citizens.
