Now in its 18th year, the Bob Hope Memorial Charity Golf Classic presented by Emerald Coast Hospice is a major local fundraising event for the Air Force Enlisted Village that raises critical funds to support our mission of providing a home for surviving spouses of retired enlisted U.S. Air Force personnel who reside at our independent living community, Bob Hope Village, and at our assisted living and memory care facility, Hawthorn House.

The fun starts on Thursday, May 13, 2021, 5:00 p.m. at Landshark's Pizza in Destin, Florida. Complimentary pizza, wings, and beer. Live auction, door prizes, and a 50/50 chance drawing will round out the fun.

The golf classic takes place on Friday, May 14, 2021, and Saturday, May 15, 2021 at the Eglin AFB Golf Course in Niceville, Florida. The format is 4-person Captain's Choice. Bonus packages will be sold during check-in on May 14, 2021. The event will also include a prize chance drawing.

Golfers have the opportunity to win the following prizes:

• 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place Teams in A-B-C Flights (teams will be flighted after Day 1 scores)
• Hole in One sponsored by Step One Automotive Group
• Longest Drive sponsored by GEICO PC Carter Insurance Agency         
• Closest to the Pin sponsored by Corporate Benefits of the Emerald Coast
